I would not class heroes such as John Young, Paul Reuben, Joshua Munns or Bert Nussbaumer as 'cowboys', nor would I expect such professionals to have worked with a "cowboy outfit"â?¦ "Security Operator said: I worked with Crescent Security Group and can tell you that this is a "cowboy" outfit mainly because of the Director of Security named Scott. What a moron this guy is!" Such statements may or may not be true; and if the latter statement is, he must be in a whole world of trouble with the courts, families, etc. it would probably be best not to post such. IMO if it was / or is that bad of a company, it would say very little of the people who have worked there! Are they (the former employees) claiming to be or have been cowboys too, it sounds like it... Or (being the devils advocate here) it could have been classed as a "cowboy outfit" until the said "Security Operator" left. Then with all of the cowboys gone it left only the professional operators such as John, Paul, Josh, Jon and Bert? Now theirs food for thought donâ??t you think? See you later cowboy, sounds like sour grapes to me!!! John, Paul, Josh and Bert, may you rest in peace, you will be missed. Jon, we are praying for your release.

I did not know any of these gentlemen or their families but their story has touched my heart and I just wanted to let the families know that they are all in my prayers.

I worked with Crescent Security Group and can tell you that this is a "cowboy" outfit mainly because of the Director of Security named Scott. What a moron this guy is! I mostly worked with John Young but knew Paul well. My thoughts and prayers are with their families and I also pray that their kidnappers will be brought to justice soon...

This is devestating news that these men have been killed. I am so very sorry the summit will not be about their return alive but instead about their funerals. The mentality of the Middle East is hard to understand. To all the families my deepest sympathy; it has been a tortuous 16 months for you.

Please tell the families we are so sorry for their losses. Our son was a contractor in Iraq and killed 050705. We have prayed for the men and their families every day. I know they are with God and our son Todd. Take it one day at a time and know that there are many who will up hold you in prayer. God bless you.

Thanks to all who sign this guestbook with warm messages for Paul's family. We will continue to need you in the days ahead as we go on without his love and courage. We cherish his memory forever and can never repay the sacrifice he made for all of us.

As with the rest of the you, I am DEVASTATED by the news of Paul's death. I would have hoped that those monsters would have seen his gentle spirit and his love for human kindness. Paul is someone who I knew from High School and I has left a permanent mark on my heart and he will never be forgotten. I am praying for your families. May God Bless you all and keep you in comfort through these days. You will all meet again at the gates of Heaven. God Bless!

I went to high school with Paul, and Pat Reuben. Those too always made people laugh. They where very positive people. They never came to school down. I have'nt seem or talk to them sence school, but Im sure they have the same infectious personality they did back them. From what I remember you guys had a strong family, and im sure you still do. May god bless you during your time of loss. I know all of these men will be greatly missed. I have and will pray for all of you.

I went to school with Paul, Pat, Susie, and Sarah Reuben. Susie and I went all the way from kindergarten through 12th grade together. They were all the nicest kids you could meet. Pat and Paul used to sit next to me on the bus ride home from Roosevelt High School. They loved to flirt, joke around, and make me laugh. When I remember them, it is always a memory of them smiling with that classic Reuben family smile. My mom was a substitute teacher, who had had Pat and Paul in some of her classes. She frequently talked about how nice they were and what a joy they were to have in her class. Of course, she knew Susie too, because we were in the same grade. When I first heard of Paul's abduction, I set-up a section of my website and dedicated it to him. I haven't updated it yet, since the sad news last night that Paul and the other contractors are gone, but you can visit my website at http://www.myspace.com/omniamoderate and I can be contacted through the "message" link on the upper left side of that web page. Please let Paul's family (and all of the other victims' families) know that they are in my thoughts and prayers (and have been throughout this terrible ordeal). They all have my deepest sympathy. I cannot believe that this has happened! It is so senseless and unfair! May God be with all the families of these men as they face the sad reality of their losses. I am so very sorry that these men and their families have had to go through this. Please continue keep us all informed as to what is being done to capture those responsible for their deaths. We must not allow their murderers to go free! Please contact me, so I can add a section to my web page devoted to hunting down those heartless fiends that killed our friends! Sincerely, LeeAnn Peterson
